Both my sons spent a week at Long Bay Camp last summer (unfortunately for my husband and I, they chose different weeks...). Both of them, on the driveway out of the camp, asked if they could spend two weeks at camp next (this) summer! The program is diverse and has something for everyone - photography and tin whistle were chosen last year and I'm sure that this year similarly diverse, but, current program options will be available. From what I can tell, the program choice didn't necessarily matter - the kids, the camp experience, the openness and acceptance of people as unique individuals is what matters and makes this camp so special. Also, my children are "unique" eaters - let's just say - and both came home asking me "to cook like camp"! They can't wait for this summer and I can't wait to see their end of session show and hear their adventures. Highest recommendations from this family!

My son and daughter have been going to long bay camp ever since it started, Daniel now for 4 years and Michelle for 2. From the very first, they said that they did not want to go to any other camp. This past summer, Michelle took part in Drama and art. It was amazing to watch my shy little girl perform a major part in a play about the odyssey. Her silk screening teacher told me she had amazing ability to focus on her work. She normally has difficulties focusing at school. Daniel enjoyed drumming in the band, making new friends and being given some leadership responsibilities. He will probably do the Counsellor in training next year. The kids are kept very active by an enthusiastic and energetic group of counsellors. I have incorporated some of Ott’s recipes at home since the food there is awesome. Thank you so much Ott for providing such a creative and motivating place for our kids Ada

My children have been coming to Long Bay Camp for the past two summers. They always want to come back. The final Big Show and exhibition in the barn is a real highlight for both the campers and their parents. The counselors are so kind and supportive, and the atmosphere is very friendly and creative. My guys have usually done drama or dance, and they've loved their programs. The food always seems to be healthy and the lakeside location can't be beat.
