Not only the chocolatier was 40 minutes late (parents had to wait around for the party to end), she was also sick. She looked tired and bored the whold time, so by the end of the party, the kids also looked tired and bored. My hope to give my 10 year old daughter a perfect birthday party, turned out nothing close to perfect. Even my daughter said after the party, "they should have send someone else (who is not sick)." My other child started having sore throat two hours after the party and is staying home with a fever today.
As much as I feel sorry for the cholcolatier for working sick, I am disappointed that a company would allow an ill person to host a party for children, especially it is also a food party.
I can only imagine it would have been a nice party if it was on time and if the host is happy and engaged. Now it's too late. Wish others have better luck.
