Tanglewood is located in beautiful Prince Edward County just south of Belleville and Trenton. That is 1.5hrs east of Toronto, 1hr west of Kingston and 1hr south of Peterborough.
Tanglewood offers a children's summer horse camp, day and overnight. In 2010 we are offering 3 day and 5 day camps.
The Day Camp (5 days) runs from MON to FRI 9AM till 4PM while the Overnight Campers come on the Sunday after 6PM til FRI afternoon.
The Day Camp (3 Day) runs TUES, WED, THURS 9AM til 4PM while the Overnight Campers come on the Monday night after 6PM.
They ride twice a day Morning and afternoon, go swimming, learn about horse care and stable management. When there is time we play sports such as soccar.
All meals are provided for Overnight Campers and day campers bring thier lunch.
The overnight campers each have thier own bunkbed in the large moblie home that they share with the councellors. Overnight Camp is for Girls only, Boys and girls are welcome for Day Camp.
