The Game of Love and Chance
By Marivaux. Adapted and translated by Nicolas Billon.
Directed by Matthew Jocelyn.
A Canadian Stage/Centaur Theatre co-production.

Synopsis

The Game of Love and Chance is a boisterous, girl-meets-boy romp about mistaken identity, true love and the business of marriage. Silvia and Dorante are engaged though they have never met. Silvia decides to trade places with her servant so that she can observe Dorante’s true self and, unbeknownst to her, Dorante has the same idea! Director Matthew Jocelyn puts his signature contemporary twist on this 18th-century classic from French master dramatist Marivaux.

Where: Bluma Appel Theatre, 27 Front St. E.

Time(s): April 17 at 6pm (sharp!)

Price: FREE!

Please note: You must arrive at 6pm and participate in the artistic workshop in order to see the show for free.
